Terms & Conditions

Owner

Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst under our care. Owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst your dog is under our care. Pawfect Walkies Ltd is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care. Although Pawfect Walkies Ltd holds public liability insurance we require all dogs to be insured by the owner. Pawfect Walkies Ltd reserves the right to refuse a booking for any dog that is not insured.

Your Dog

Owner is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea, tic and de-wormer treatments. Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems, which might make your dog not suitable for walking or day care services (e.g. behavioral or health problems, incontinence or lack of house training). Pawfect Walkies Ltd reserves the right to refuse a booking/terminate the contract for any dog showing signs of aggression.

Emergencies

We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact. However, Pawfect Walkies Ltd reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred whilst under the care of Pawfect Walkies Ltd.

Bookings

Bookings for the week are to be booked by 1400hrs on the Saturday prior. For example, bookings for W/C Monday 18th would need to be booked by Saturday 16th. Any bookings for that week requested after this time will not be dealt with until working hours on the Monday. Emergency bookings will be dealt with at our discretion. Any last minute bookings requested midweek will be dealt with as soon as possible. Please note: adhoc bookings are on a first come, first serve basis.
 
Cancellation
 
You may cancel your booked slot proving you give us notice before 1900hrs the day before. If a walk/day care service is cancelled after this time then you will be charged the full fee of the service. This allows us to make any necessary amendments with other customers for that day. Pawfect Walkies Ltd reserves the right to cancel the agreement at any time and with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the dog walker and/or other dogs. Pawfect Walkies Ltd may recommend they use our solo dog walking service.

Amendments
 
You may amend your booked slot providing you give us notice before 1900hrs the day before. If a walk/day care service is changed after this time then you will be charged the full fee of the service. This is to allow us to make any necessary amendments with other customers for that day.
 
Payment
 
Prices are as advertised on our prices page, please be aware that our prices are very competitive and are not negotiable. All payments are due within 7 days of receipt of invoice (unless paid on the day) via cash, bank transfer or cheque.
 
Delays
 
Your booked time is estimated only and whilst we make every effort to arrive at the time given, depending on road conditions and unforeseen circumstances please allow up to 30 minutes after your booked time slot for Pawfect Walkies Ltd to attend.

Weather

Pawfect Walkies Ltd will apply reasonable judgment and may cut walks short if there is any extreme weather conditions that make it unsafe for both the dog and the walker.

Holidays

Pawfect Walkies Ltd operate Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Pawfect Walkies Ltd aim to provide all customers two months notice of any holidays that the company may have.
